These Terms and Condition refer to the “Pre Register & Win” competition on the https://islandsoundsmalta.com/ website.
1 How to participate
Participation in the Island Sounds Malta Malta Pre-registration competition is Free. Persons that wish to participate are required to register on the https://islandsoundsmalta.com/ website by submitting their name, surname and e-mail address, as well as following the event Instagram page https://www.instagram.com/islandsoundsmalta/.
Any information provided in the course of participation will be treated in accordance to our privacy policy. By submitting your information you are agreeing to these terms and conditions as well as our privacy policy.
No purchases are required to participate in the competition and there is no charge to register for use of the website.
As participation in the competition requires any participants to use an internet connection to access the https://islandsoundsmalta.com/ website, there are no additional costs to participation beyond the normal costs associated with having access to internet on your preferred device.
The Promoter will not accept:
- responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
- proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.
By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2 Start date
The competition starts on Monday the 13th May, 2024
3 Closing date
The competition ends on Thursday 30th May, 2024
4 Prizes and gifts
The Competition winner will entitle 1 single winner to:
- 4x KM Malta Airlines Flights (Economy) from London Gatwick Airport (LGW) or London Heathrow Airport (LHR) including 20kg checked-in baggage per person.
- 1x 2-way transfer Group Transfer for 4 persons (Malta International Airport – Bora Bora Ibiza Malta resort – Malta International Airport)
- Up to 5-nights accommodation (No Meals Included) for 4 persons in 1x Quad Room at Bora Bora Ibiza Malta resort, St. Paul’s Bay.
- 4x VIP Festival Tickets for Island Sounds Malta 2024
The Winner is entitled to assign the prize to any 4 persons of his/her choice including him/herself.
The Winner will be responsible for ensuring that any person travelling is available to travel and holds valid identification, travel documents and any necessary visas.
All the assigned persons must pre-agree in writing prior to booking of flights, to travel together as one party (with same outbound and inbound flights) and to share 1 Quad Room at Room at Bora Bora Ibiza Malta resort, St. Paul’s Bay.
The prize is supplied by the Promoter. There is no cash alternative for the prize and the Promoter reserves the right to replace or substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so.
Entrance to the Island Sounds Malta 2024 event is subject to the Entry rems that can be found HERE.

By submitting your details in this the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize or any prize you may win, this includes availability over the weekend of the island Sounds Malta 2024 Event. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are:
- automatically generated by computer;
- completed by third parties or in bulk;
- illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
5 Eligibility & Restrictions
The Competition is restricted to participants aged 18+ at the time of submission. except:
- employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
- employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or
- members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
There are no geographical restrictions to participants provided that the winner and his chosen party members are in possession of any travel visas as may be required
6 Winner
The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
The Promoter will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Closing Date, using the email address provided with the competition entry. The Promoter will not amend any contact information once the competition entry form has been submitted.
As part of the winner announcement, the Promoter will publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter may announce the winner on the event’s social media platform/s. By submitting your entry in this competition you are agreeing to your name being published on the event socials.
7 Claiming The Prize
The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner using the email address provided as part of the submission. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not provided the promoter with any relevant details that may have been requested in the course of assigning the prize within 5 working of days of the later of the Closing Date and the date on which we first contact that winner, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next person selected at random from all eligible entrants that were received before the Closing Date.
The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
8 Competition Promoter
This competition is being promoted by the Maltese operators of the Island Sounds Malta event: GMED Projects Ltd.

9 Data Protection & Publicity
The Promoter will only process your personal information in order to administer the competition, select and announce a winner in accordance to our Privacy Policy.

10 Limitation of Liability
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
11 General
If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by Maltese law.
